Insights with NetSupport: Laura Knight - AI - The latest top tools to use
Show Notes

In each episode, we aim to bring you an interesting guest who shares their wealth of expertise, knowledge and insights around a relevant topic.

Our aim is simple: to inspire and equip you with new insights that will empower your teaching and learning or leadership activities. So, get ready to dive into this episode’s conversation, exploring exciting topics such as Digital Strategy, effective use of technology, change management, AI in the classroom, leading on technology, and questions to ask vendors at edtech events such as the forthcoming Bett 2024!

In this episode, we were delighted to be welcomed by a friend of NetSupport, Laura Knight. Now a learning consultant at Berkhamsted School, Laura is a former Languages teacher and middle and senior leader with a solid understanding of what effective technology use looks like at both a macro and a micro scale.

In their conversation, Laura and our Head of Education, Mark Anderson, discuss many aspects around the hot topic of AI – but this chat, of course, dived far deeper than the latest top tools to use (although she does share some great tools to explore at the end of the recording, in a TeachMeet style).

Recognising that there are no silver bullets in education, and certainly not with educational technology, Laura and Mark explore change management; how to raise the bar of confidence, competence and cognisance with the use of technology; why AI represents a real ‘internet’ moment of change for schools – all grounded with practical ideas and tips just as useful for teachers as they are for leaders.
